Tiananmen Square Anniversary Marked by Thousands

I won't say Hong Kong and Macao are worthless at all. Saying that is like saying to everyone that Taiwan is worthless to a big country like ours. In which case we should let Taiwan have its independence? Absolutely not.
Sure, what I want to say further is an independent Taiwan really a better choice both for itself and related big China.

Aren't you overseas as well:confused:?

Aren't you that easy to get confused?

"those morons who are now in overseas and who have never-ending in-fights over power and money" refers to those self-claimed over-zealous "democratic freedom fighters".

They are just such a tiny tiny portions of all overseas Chinese.

Majority of overseas Chinese do not like those supposed "democratic freedom fighters" and want nothing to do with them.

.
What a tedious lie. You think everyone who are not against CCP is communist???

Both my parents are damn-good engineers and none of them are communists. Actually, none of our family members are communists. Among all of my college classmates, schoolmates who went overseas, at least 90% are not communist members.

About our family background, well, many of them are intellectual background, e.g. engineers, teachers, professors and etc. However, I also have some who come from dirty poor regions in China and some of them lost either one or both parents when they were young.

What an ignorant retard.

Mr. Roy, Sir,

Almost by definition all of the PRC posters here at the PDF are from the privileged class of the PRC. That is, they are all the children of party members and are benefiting personally from the PRC system, post-Tiananmen. So, no need for confusion! They are part of the Chinese oppressing clique, lock stock and barrel.....

.
chinese government should just own up to this imo. better late then never.

Deng should get more credit for the economic development. Without his black cat/white cat theory to release those controls on people's minds, we won't have any miracle at all.

No, Deng was a brutal and corrupt dictator. Jiang Zemin was corrupt but he was the one primarily responsible for the economic miracle and wasn't a dictator.

Deng gets the credit in the West precisely because the West loves brutal dictators that follow their orders (like Deng).

.
BTW, another evidence to show you how "popular" those self-claimed democratic freedom fighters are:

How many overseas Chinese actually bother to go protesting in Europe, U.S., Australia and etc around 6/4???

It is still those tiny number of old faces who have jumped up and down for so many years.

Would someone jump out saying the big bad CCP have coerced those overseas Chinese not to go protesting???

I bet many americans, europeans, indians as well as australians believe that. :)

.
What you have said can only indicate how ignorant you are.

Mao dare to go to war with U.S.-led multi-national armies in Korea, dare not to take HK from U.K.???

Why didn't Mao take HK during 1967???

(1) China and U.K. has formal relationship and we need keep that channel open since most western countries have closed that door. China was already not in good term with USSR and it was never our interest to close both doors.

(2) We need get our most high tech related stuff smuggled through HK. Taking over HK would mean that door would be permanently closed. Keeping HK open would be more beneficial than taking it back.

You may call Mao many things but "spineless" definitely is not qualified for Mao. Trust me, few will agree with you on this term, even those foreigners.

Sorry. Forgot about that. Yes, he does have merit for that, and Mao was spineless for not occupying HK during the 1967 riots.

I don't think so. We need the geographic location so Japan and the US can't use it as an aircraft carrier/missile base against China. Sorry, I'm interested in only the interests of the 1.3 billion citizens of the PRC. Everyone else is secondary.

Unfortunate isn't. The vast majority of people who went abroad did so as students and academics. In the whole of the Chinese community in my town, we don't know of any communist members or investment visa holders. When my family first came here we all of us survived on a post-doc stipend for years, yet I am supposed to be of the communist elite. If only.

Unfortunately, there are so many ignorant whites, indians here who are so interested in spreading those tedious lies about overseas Chinese.

When Lang lang refused to play for those who died for 6/4 suggested by that idiot jumping onto stage, or Li Na refused to answer 6/4 related questions after winning French Open, those idiots are jumping out again saying Lang Lang and Li Na are communist backers and spineless.

They just do not understand those 6/4 self-claimed "democratic freedom fighters" have already consumed their welcome long long time ago.

To majority of overseas Chinese, they are just some idiotic funny clowns selling their own souls and country while begging money from foreign governments.

The problem with democracy in China today, is that all of the democracy preachers already took CIA money and preach not democracy but about the greatness of the US. This taints the reputation of the word "democracy". The CPC is not against democracy. Wen Jiabao even stated that democracy and socialism are not mutually exclusive, and that only democracy can save China. Yet the word "democracy" now has the added meaning of being a US muppet and spineless traitor.

I find it funny how TruthSeeker questions that we're the "elite" of the PRC despite 800 million having internet access through phones and 400 million having internet access through computers, yet he never questions how India, a country where half the people don't even have electricity, has so many "non elite" online.
