I wish that were the case but PAF does not still believe in that. The airchief continues to flypast in an F-16 rather than a JF-17. At least this year he should had come in JF-17. Messages like these are the ones that make others realize the mistake they made in putting sanctions on the F-16s. They made Pakistan self reliant but PAF will first have to get out of F-16 dilemma.

From the recent skirmish, it was proven that it's not only the platform but a combination of factors that determines the winning side. Right now, we are fielding a 200+ BVR capable, network-centric fleet with a pilot to aircraft ratio of 2.5:1

They very much did but tactics evolve. IAF, driven by populist support, underestimated what was waiting for them across the border. Rafale coupled with superior tactics and pilots can punch a serious hole.
