His time as minister of defense was a colossal failure.

Yemen is still a mess. All of KSA's allies, including the UAE have left yemen, and the Houthis control more uncontested territory then they did in the start of their insurgency. The US passed a bill to stop sales of weapons that are going to be used in yemen, as well as Intel sharing.

It'll take your word on NEOM though. Last I heard, it was stalled, so if you have more updates, then I'll retract my statement on that.

Social and economic reforms have been a mixed bag. Some have been popular, but some have been extremely unpopular.
