GURGAON: Three cases of rape have been registered in the city in the last 24 hours. Two of the victims are minors. Police have arrested two persons while one remains to be absconding.

A 20-year-old woman from UP was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a mason. In her complaint, the woman said the accused called her to Punjab on the pretext of getting her a job. "There, he locked her in a room and raped her. She somehow managed to escape on Sunday," said ASI Ajmer Singh, who is investigating the case. The accused is on the run.

A 13-year-old girl was raped by a 23-year-old man near Sector 46. Saddam, who runs a tyre stall and who knows the family of the victim, entered her house when she was alone ad raped her. He also threatened to kill her.

A 17-year-old girl has alleged that her neighbour had raped her when she was alone at home in Dundahera village on Saturday afternoon. The victim, a domestic worker, told police that Harbeer, 25, entered the house and raped her. "We have arrested Harbeer," said Rajender Singh, SHO, Udyog Vihar .
