Those fed by dictators are part of PTI today: Hamid Khan

LAHORE: Leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Hamid Khan on Saturday said those who enjoyed power under the umbrella of dictators and cracked jokes about PTI are today a part of the party.

“They are corrupt. They are sugar mafia. They are the enemies of Pakistan,” said Hamid Khan while talking to media persons here.

He said these members poison the party Chairman Imran Khan’s ears by telling him that only they are the ones who hold relevant experience and only they are competent in the entire lot.

He said the PTI suffered damage due to the presence of self-centered individuals in the party. “The party needs to be cleansed of corrupt elements and that no compromise would be made in this regard,” he added.

He said even Imran Khan repeatedly expressed his regret that he felt a dearth of competent people around him.

Hamid Khan said rigging did take place in general elections of 2013 but his party could not prove it. He, however, said that he was successful in proving rigging in his constituency.

Very similar statement to what we ex-PTI supporters has been saying since past. This is not the same PTI some of us once wished for

.
He has a good point regarding his own constituency, as well as the other four. But sadly, after JC report, those conclusions are meaningless for the majority.

I agree with him though. And after his and Justice Wajih's meeting with Imran Khan, things can only get better.

I hope IK has learned his lesson and now thinks like a politician.

Is banday ka masla yeh hai keh he is pretty straightforward, he can't make a cunning plan, takes everything for it's face value, and just does whatever he has in mind. He doesn't know mufahmat ki siasat neither the dark arts of politics. He is true at heart, wants to do well and has the right plan and ideas, just not that politics part quite yet. Let's hope he learns.

What you are saying is, he doesn't know the art of politics?

So why not do what he is best at?

Yes, he doesn't. He isn't clever, he doesn't have that political nous that you need to take on all the vices in our politics.

And what does your second question mean?

.
Everyone did it why blame PTI MQM not only part of dictator and fully supported it so no one opens mouth on them

.
And what does your second question mean?
A barrister fights the case in court because he is good at it (qualified)
A surgeon operates because he is good at it

if Imran Khan lacks art of politics and is a too straight forward of a person then he should do what he is good at it (commentary?)

Comparing apples and oranges are we?

Nobody trains to be a politician. Nobody chooses it as a career path (for the most part). Being a doctor or a barrister is a profession, to feed you and your family and live your life.

Getting into politics (at it's core) means wanting to do something for your country and trying to make your country better. There are many ways to do it, politics is one.

He is trying to do something for the country, what's the problem?

So he should just leave and we should let the ever running cycle of plunderers keep on coming? So we should just resign to the fact that we all are meaningless and some ultra elite class people are meant to rule over us forever?

Koi banda mulk ka haal badalnay kay liay koshish kar raha hai to us main masla kia hai?

masla yeh hai ke he is being fed crap by his aides and he is blabbering crap listening and believing their unverified nonsense. Either he need to change his corrupt friends or they need to replace him.

He might gain respect from everybody if he reverts back to core leadership before the amnesty of clean shit for all those members who joined PTI was decreed. If he does that, he knows he can't do that anymore due to his own failures and became like a mouthpiece for his dictator-mindset friends around him.

Well evidence at the moment is that he is seeking to make amends and learn from his mistakes...to masla kia hai?

jo ho jaye ga tab dekhain ge... abhi to due to his confused mindset and stubborness, the whole Pakistan is suffering

I always believed that *Water flow downhills* .... In Pakistani Politics its upto IK what he wants to achive ... Its not relevent but take an example of Pakistan Army ... Under Raheel Sharif's command the same army thriving which was failed to tackle terrorism under kyani ...

Pakistan is and has been suffering through corrupt Politicians like Zardar and Nawaz and Power hungry generals like Zia and Musharraf. I Bet what mistakes IK committed throughout his struggle aren't even a fraction of the corruption the individuals above committed. Pakistan NEEDS a person like IK more than IK needs Pakistan. He could've easily gone and lived abroad with his family and live a quiet and peaceful life but instead he chose to make a better Pakistan. Be thankful. Iam starting to think now that we deserve leaders like Nawaz and Zardar rather than any honest leader. We don't learn from the past as a nation at all.

I have heard similar statements about Musharraf when he was the President and people said he is the only option we got... and we all witnessed where he led us to.

Oh...I didn't know that.

How exactly?
Confusing the nation by advocating the good Taliban, bad Taliban theory for over a decade. Using his vote bank to persuade the dialogue process to indefinite period of time until the realisation after even a primary school child grew up to become university student.

Dividing the whole nation in 2 classes of Patwari and Non Patwari leading the whole nation divided into new type of hate speech never witnessed before

Inciting violence and attempting to isolate Pakistan with foreign nations by encouraging civil disobedience.

Destroying economy (approximately 1000 billion rupees estimated) and becoming a reason for killings of civilians during the anarchy march.

Encouraging Police Force to act against the government and support him (attempted coup?).

The list is endless... He is a confused guy, changed his stance for countless times and comes up with something new until certain period of time and his supporters consider his short sightedness as great invention of political tactics. So far he has failed any every single political stance he has taken and somewhat humiliated as he has simply backtracked from his original principles envisioned when his party was launched
