off course politicians do it all the time ...

DM is answerable to National assembly and not Armed forces .

there is nothing wrong for DM to speak against his own armed forces ...if there is truth in it ...especially when he is speaking in National assembly ...

I personally feel Nation is more important than any other institution ...that also includes army .

If army has made mistakes and is making mistakes and compromising interests of nation ...then it needs to be reprimanded and disciplined .

Look bro , I am not taking at pot shots ...because the sitting DM had made such remarks about army ...

I seriously feel ...it is very important for those who have stakes have clear heart to heart , open , healthy debate ...

There is no need to treat army as god ....and ignore their blunders or let it grow so powerful that it will sacrifice nation for its own sake ...

which is was seems to have happened ...

army has never allowed Democracy to flourish in Pakistan ...and tried to control state .

It has created this perpetual fear in minds of pakistani people that had it not been for army India would have broken pakistan long time back and sort ....

Most of pakistan's current problems have origin in pakistan army's uncontrolled lust for power ....
