We come across a number of nasty reports of nasty incidents involving nasty bigots doing nasty things to others. Sometimes the victims themselves behave nasty in retaliation. It is very difficult for us to really know how much of that is in proportion to the whole population. With events such as the last presidential elections with polarising options such as Clinton and Trump (and others) offering little choice away from nastiness of several kinds, it is easy to become skeptical.

At least to me it is important to watch and know about episodes of human redemption such as this one.
