Japan is 43% the land area of Pakistan with 57% population.

If anything, there decreasing population is good.

They should be at around 50 million and We should be at around 100 million.

With curent condition, if they goes to 50 million population. Their economy will doomed.

50 million is smaller than South Korean population, and their economy will be in 1,5-2 Trillion club GDP if that happen.
In the same club with nominal GDP of Guangdong and Jiangsu Province in China (Both are over 1,5 Trillion club GDP)

It is not a serious problem. Japan's economy once collapsed after the end of World War 2, and 30 years later they returned, becoming an economic and technological superpower. Destruction and rebirth are an irreversible cycle of all civilization.

Yes, but a population control program before you are capable of providing quality healthcare and special elderly care services will lead to disaster. And you'd better plan to control your population after you country has become developed, not before it.

Population is increasing continuously at very fast pace but resources are not increasing. Land and other resources would never increase standard of living will be low even if all 100 percent Pakistanis become professors.

I think that is Japan's real problem. 93%urbanization. Everyone go to Tokyo, Osaka, and other big cities. Left some ghost towns along the way. Like in order big economy, urbanization are always bad for raising a family. Because living in a big city like Tokyo is very expensive. So they tend to avoid baby making. While living in villages or small towns make people relax, so they tend to have more children without any problem.
