Second, this content is being circulated across WhatsApp groups to create frustration.

Third, parents in Pakistan are finding it difficult to get hold of their children's marital affairs let alone the ones who were brought up abroad and are thoroughly westernized. I bet the son chose the girl himself and even if the mother didn't approve, he would have gone through with the marriage anyway. Gone are the days when children would respect their parent's wishes. Maliha Lodhi cannot be blamed. She is a mother who joined her son in his happiness.
