I feel both sad for and angry at Afghans at this news. There is so much hatred in Afghanistan for Pakistan yet these refugees are economically weak and socially castigated for bringing weapons, crime, terrorism and other ills in society. I understand the demand from most of us Pakistanis for them to be kicked out. Yet they have been living in our country for decades.

Patiently awaiting for the precious scans. Khakistan is an enemy of Pakistan. We will close the border and repatriate every single Afghan. No one can blame Pakistan when Afghanistan and India are exporting terror to Pakistan.

I found the original documents today of the correspondence b/w different gov. departments pertaining to
1. Hijrat of Muhajireen mostly from surrounding areas of Peshawar and a tiny minority from Sindh and Punjab to Afghanistan. (76 pages)
2. Return of the Muhajireen and their resettlement process. (122 pages)
in 1920.
It only took a few months for Afghanistanis to get fed up of about 20,000 "Hindustani" Muhajireens as they were called in one of the documented decrees of Afghanistan's Amir. The image below documents the first returnees from Afghanistan and their ill treatment. This feeling was mutual among all parties that returned.

According to the documents all the emigrants either returned or moved on towards Turkestan. I have only uploaded 50% (62 of 122 pages) of the "Returning and resettlement of Muhajireen". I will upload more if I am asked or if i get time. These documents are chronologically ordered. Please go to the last image in the album for the start of the documents. Pages are numbered as well if you get lost. Read them in order as they will make more sense. Here's the link.

Any refugee who wants to stay should be given a passport ASAP. That's the only solution I'm seeing here. I don't understand the point of kicking out Muslims fleeing a warzone. What was the purpose of Pakistan?

lol Muslims... So are we does that stop afghanis from spreading terrorist harbouring TTP and BLA ? Did that stop them from invading Pakistani territory in the past or supporting terrorism through KHAD?
Karzai,Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah were also refugees and lived in Pak... Did it stop them from hurting Pakistan?
Does it stop these afghan refugees from getting involved in anti Pak activities,crimes,smuggling etc ?

Nobody is here to stay permanent. One day they need to go home. We feed them more than 30 years which is more than enough

I understand but as a Pakistani I cannot agree with this decision, we gave these people a sanctuary and these are our muslims and we should be helping the helpless not forcing them back to a land where they will face early death and a miserable life and by forcing them back we will face a backlash. No the best thing is offer them Pakistani citizenship and our hand of friendship. Let us all grow and develop our beautiful country.
