But it also makes me think, we all can see back and fondly remember a soldier's life and times. How many other professions give that glory?

As a lot of you know here i went into politics quiet early in life and was a big time goon , after one of my stints inside , my father took me aside as said " learn when to use your strength , its better to walk away from these silly fights you get into them to show how macho you are. "
Some how i always looked up to him , even thought i have a lot of experience in the dirty side of life , i often remember his advice. .

My Late Mother used to tell me the same thing (albeit in different words) when i got upset on silly things and office matters early in my professional career. Sometimes keeping mum is infinitely better than letting your Ego take over you. When i see several silly fight of words on PDF, in corporate life etc, i realize how important that lesson is to every man.
But as they say about lot of other such things, Easier Said than Done.
