I find rural and urban quota system in sindh very descriminatory...i support it in only one aspect that it has helped sindhis , but my question is why only against mohajirs? Mohajirs dominated every department in sindh due to their high literacy rate, so a limit was put on them by quote to give chance to sindhis...my point is why not limitation of punjabi dominance in every department and field of Pakistan...as "martial theory" is crap so whats the justification of 85% presence of punjabis in army? What is justification of more than 70% presence of punjabis in beaurocracy and judiciary and other departments?...due to this reason some people call pakistan as punjabistan, every small province has frustration against punjab dominance.
In my opinion after 65 years the smaller provinces should be given chance now to make some progress.
1- Budget allocation shouldnt be based on population, the most backward province should get largest share.
2- there should be quota for punjabis in army 40% or 45%. Or 25% quota for each province.
3- in beaurocracy, only 20-30% seats for punjab. The rest of seats should be in open merit for other three provinces or 25% quota for each province. Same should be applied in other governament departments.
When there is equal development and progress throughout pakistan , then such pakistan would be strong and united and would emerge as single nation. East pakistan case, baloch insurgency, pashtun and sindhi nationalism has reasons related to my topic.
