Haven't read the books nor do I care about the author and his books. The only thing I cared about was the game. The way this writer interacted and thought of the game developers, I have zero to no expectation for this series. I loved the characters of the game, how they looked, how they acted, how the story played out. This series just doesn't look the same(Ciri, yennifer, triss, etc). It just shows pure hatred of the author towards the game devs. He just wants to distance himself as far as he could from them.

The author wasn't that big a part of this series, to be fair. Many of the deviance in the series is because of the director and the new PC fad in entertainment these days.
