The root cause is that Americans have issued excessive $4 trillion currency. These currencies cannot buy goods, so they lead to inflation.Tariff is never the source of inflation. They just want to target the symptom, but not the source.
I doubt that. That tax would be paid by Chinese manufacturers. It is unknown whether they can pass that cost onto American consumers. On the other hand, import tariff is paid by American importers. Doesn't matter whether they can pass it onto American consumers, American people have already paid for it.Will Americans be angry if China imposes an equal amount of environmental protection taxes on exports?
I'm kidding, don't take it seriously. But the increased costs usually caused by taxes will be transferred to FOB.I doubt that. That tax would be paid by Chinese manufacturers. It is unknown whether they can pass that cost onto American consumers. On the other hand, import tariff is paid by American importers. Doesn't matter whether they can pass it onto American consumers, American people have already paid for it.
Absolutely nonsense. The tax will be paid by US customers and not Chinese manufacturer.I doubt that. That tax would be paid by Chinese manufacturers. Everyone is replaceable in this world. It is delusional to think otherwise.Absolutely nonsense. The tax will be paid by US customers and not Chinese manufacturer.
Imagine Chinese manufacturer stop export to US and what happened? I know some clown will think it's so easy to get a substitute supplier chain to replace China. These delusion fools will keep living in their fantasy... Even I give u 5 years time, I doubt they can replace China supplier.
Really? I know some clown will claim Rome can be build overnight and replace China in a single day...Everyone is replaceable in this world. It is delusional to think otherwise.
@nang2Ha ha haaaaa.
This is some kind of a self-slap in US's own face.
U.S. companies are bearing the brunt of Trump's China tariffs, says Moody’s
Moody's said American importers absorbed more than 90% of additional costs resulting from the 20% U.S. tariff on Chinese goods.www.cnbc.comTariffs on China Are Destructive and They Are Here to Stay
The Biden administration knows how Trump’s trade strictures backfired on U.S. workers and businesses. But that doesn’t mean the policy will change.www.bloomberg.com
@Hamartia Antidote @F-22Raptor
Your Presidents (Trump/Biden) have let you down.
You are truly dumb and certainly cannot read. I referred to the export fee jokingly proposed by @MH.YangReally? I know some clown will claim Rome can be build overnight and replace China in a single day...
I am waiting for that day for some to replace China as world factory. Definitely not in my lifetime and I have many decades ahead.
@nang2
Some clown will claim the tax are absorbed by Chinese manufacturer.....
It will not. Things are just getting shipped to Vietnam, to have few screws inserted, stamped with "Made in Vietnam," and shipped to US.I doubt that. That tax would be paid by Chinese manufacturers. It is unknown whether they can pass that cost onto American consumers. On the other hand, import tariff is paid by American importers. Doesn't matter whether they can pass it onto American consumers, American people have already paid for it.
Of course, either way American consumers would see higher prices as even finding an alternative increases the cost. That will eventually affect the manufacturers. So, such an evading maneuver is understandable. But if it continues, Vietnam needs to re-assess the benefit of inserting a few more screws comparing with getting suspicious attention from US government.It will not. Things are just getting shipped to Vietnam, to have few screws inserted, stamped with "Made in Vietnam," and shipped to US.
That's what been happening with like half of all white label companies I knew.
