@beijingwalker @etylo sad to see China trailing behind India when it comes to Nobels. I thought you guys have higher IQ and may have won more Nobels than the entire world combined.

May be there is a video available on American video sharing platform called YouTube; which will show that China won Nobels even before Alfred Nobel was born. I’ll go search for it.

Who cares about Western tool Nobel prize, that to be awarded has to be politically correct foremost. Just a note, there are only 4 Indian citizens won the prize.

China has very hostile relations with Nobel Prize committee cause it awarded the prize to the Dalai Lama and dissident Liu Xiaobo. The Nobel Prize had long become a western tool against China.

China's top science prize is for the scientists who greatly contribute to certain sectors of China's development, it's more about applied science which produces tangible results or end products.

It means China's science prize is a 'nationalist' prize - Glory, Glory, Glory to China.

Yet, somehow people accuse the West of bias in prize.

China and others work with what is known, thanks mostly/almost entirely to Western scientists.
