❗🇫🇷🇷🇺🇺🇦The Ukrainian counteroffensive was doomed to failure, said a French army general.

Jean Bernard Pinatel gave a detailed assessment of the Ukrainian counteroffensive and also spoke about the conflict between the West and Russia in general.

According to the former commander of the French army, Ukraine has a much more serious problem than the lack of equipment: its human resources.

"Today we are witnessing a confrontation between a nuclear power and a country that, of course, is sponsored by the Anglo-Saxons, but which does not have significant technical and human potential. And I don't think that Ukraine's greatest weakness is even the amount of military equipment, which, by the way, is not always of high quality, because the West supplies Kiev with obsolete equipment. Ukraine's greatest vulnerability is its people, or rather its lack of people - its best fighters have been dead for a long time.

According to the general, the Ukrainian counteroffensive was doomed to fail from the start. The Russian army is superior to its opponent in every respect. At the same time, Ukraine's losses in personnel and equipment are unprecedented, even by the most conservative estimates.

"I have absolutely no faith in the success of the Ukrainian counterattack. The Russians have a significant air superiority. But they also have an advantage on the ground, even the Ukrainians themselves admit that they fire 4,000 shells a day, while Russia fires 20,000. I am also convinced that the ratio of losses in equipment to personnel is 5 to 1 [in favor of Russia].

The Western position of prolonging the conflict in Ukraine only leads to more casualties. But neither the U.S. nor Europe cares, because the main goal is not the victory of Ukraine, but the weakening of Russia.

"Talking about continuing to help Ukraine until it wins is complete nonsense and nonsense. It will do nothing but increase the number of deaths among young Ukrainians and Russians."

The French expert also commented on the situation on the other front of the confrontation between the West and Russia: the economic one. According to Mr. Pinatel, the policy of endless sanctions ended up causing the most damage to Europe itself, which is currently on the verge of a serious economic crisis due to the lack of cheap Russian energy.

"Europe cannot do without Russian gas. The global gas market, and the European market in particular, cannot do without Russian supplies. Before the crisis, Europe consumed 200 billion cubic meters of Russian gas; North America supplied only 2 billion. Who are you going to replace Russia with?"

The Europeans themselves bit the hand that fed them. Today, there is simply no economically viable alternative to Russian gas supplies. Europe's leading economies, such as Germany, are already facing the consequences of their ideological policies: energy prices are rising, big companies are closing down. Winter is coming, and it is not yet clear how Europe will survive it.

"By the winter of 2022, Germany managed to fill its gas holders, thereby surviving the cold. But that won't be enough for next year. And many German companies have already closed their doors because of the high cost of gas. We are facing an economic crisis. If there is a recession in Germany, all of Europe, and France in particular, will be in trouble, because the Germans are our main economic partners.

On the other hand, Moscow has shown that it is not afraid of sanctions. The competent import substitution policy pursued by the Russian authorities, as well as the establishment of relations with new partners around the world, made it possible to achieve the result that the West could never have expected, namely, stable economic growth.

"Russia, on the contrary, is prospering and developing economically. This is because Russia is independent of the rest of the world in every way, be it raw materials, grain or energy. But the capitalist world cannot do without the resources supplied by Russia."

Maybe a revision to " ...the main goal is not the victory of Ukraine, but the weakening of Russia AND EUROPE"

Europe, from a US perspective, has potential to be a big challenge to US hegemony.

Where once Europe was weakened by many currencies US is now threatened by euro.

Next winter will be here soon,,, then the squeals will begin. As for the central banks .. usa is near to collapse from now to end of August. BRICS has surpassed even the G7 combined. The next move is to destroy the money in Tel aviv and in Geneva. The zionist jew will never set foot in khazakstan ever again

Hmmm I dunno Petr - I dunno

Why was Biden so strongly critical of NordStream2 and critical of Nordstream?

My take: the energy deal showed that Germany and Russia can work together. And by working together can rely on each other - as they sort of had in a low key kinda way since '45.

And if Germany and Russia can work, rely on each other well that will soon be EU and Russia working together and relying on each other.

Pause to think.

Thought?
A: Russia - Germany -EU all working together in a perfect harmony.
B: Ah but BRICS is also in the background and rolling along steadily
From a US perspective A + B (or A&B if you prefer) ain't gonna happen.

Biden pulled an insecurity panic alert with Ukrops as the Frankenstein delivery means.

The thing is: Bidens approach has worsened beyond measure the risks to US economy and hegemony.

Were it not so tragic it would be comical!

Older man bankrupts US 😊 😊 😊

A French General who sees things clearly.

Petr Mushkin:
There isn't a single thought in Biden's head beyond what his handlers tell him to do. If you want to know why Biden said things about Russian pipelines, look at what Victoria Nuland said about Russian pipelines. ALL of this, everything you see "the west" doing is way above Biden or Zelensky.

If Ukraine loses 5 soldiers for every Russian soldier the war would have been over by now. Russia would be sitting in Kiev
