English will never attain a level of ubiquity that Arabic has. The vast majority of Arabs use Arabic, and will continue to do so in the future. And that's a good thing.

An Arabic based ecosystem may not offer any technological advantages in the short run, but in the long run, it will promote technology access to the Arabic speaking masses.
