After taking Afganistan the conquest of Hindustan became a “cake walk” for Babur Han!! No, but Taliban harbored the terrorists that did, and the Taliban refused to give them up the US before US attacked in 2001. In retrospect, that was obv a big mistake. Taliban will still agree to keep AQ out of Afghanistan when this new "peace deal" is signed or whatever its name is, if it comes to effect.
