What's new

The rise of Hindutva.. only 20 muslims in Parliament of Modi..

A lot of Pakistanis are having sleepless nights

The biggest reason is Modi (even they know that this man means business but they wanted to see Indians suffer like them)

The second reason is that Indians voted for a change while the same didn't happen in Pakistan. Most of the loudest rondu's opening countless threads about Modi are Talib Khan supporters.
Not only that ,the main thing they are not able to digest is Indian muslims voting for modi, whom they have been told is the butcher of gujarat, and it goes against their belif that muslims are suppressed by hindu majority.
It short it shook thier foundation.:D

discuss kya karna hai??

Well muslims in India are what 20% and in the parliament how much percentage wise?

Plus take into account other minorities who are also not being represented properly. This looks more like a hindu state than a secular state.

So people should just accept it, that India was always a hindu state.

India is a majority Hindu state is a fact.

Or, they can migrate to Pakistan, the citadel of Islam in South Asia.

Dude, dont want such citadel whose roots are so weak and which gets bombed every moment that it mite fall anytime. Self proclaimed Citadel and actual citadel do have huge distinguisments.

In India you cannot contest elections based on religion, thats why its called a secular country.

If Muslims dont get elected in Parliament, its nowhere the fault of so called hinduism and Indian hindus, etc etc. Do see the Muslims which fought the elections vis a vis how many got selected. Its the people who choose their representative and if in this election, even the big Muslim leaders lost their deposit means even their own muslim votebank didnt voted for them. What does it mean?

Indians unlike Pakistan has come out of skewed mentality and their issues are much above so called religion. I am happy that India now aspires to grow internationally and hence their thotprocess has become very progressive. Pakistan can opt to romance its Islamization and remain uneducated and illogical rather than recognizing true ground issues and vote accordingly. Religion and Politics has to be kept aside. Indians understood this. Not sure bout countries like Pakistan.

And yet even after having very little to no representation in government the Christian community is one of the most successful in India. Why? Because representation in government based on religion means jack. Christians make up far less % in India yet are more successful than Muslims because they don't rely on government rather put their own money to improve their community. Christian schools are one of the best schools in India, and all are funded by Christians themselves, with help of some NGO's. Which again goes to question is why Muslims can't do the same. People need to get out of entitlement attitude plain and simple.

Nawaz also won enough seats to form government in Baluchistan and KPK if he had wanted all he needed was some independents to swing his way which was easy for him to do but he purposely allowed Baluch nationalists and Imran Khan to form governments in those two provinces so keep your ignorance to yourself idiot.

The only province he did not win even second place was Sindh.

I am talking about vote share, don't care about seats.

Anyway, even for seats-

Pakistani general election, 2013 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He was able to form a government at the national level because of those 214 out of 297 seats he won in Punjab. In KPK , he won 12 out of 99. In Sindh 4 out of 130 and in Balochistan 8 out of 52. Yet only because of the 214 seats won in Punjab he forms the National government and becomes PM. Tells the story.

I may be ignorant or idiot but at least I am not an ill-mannered pathological liar like you.

India has More Muslims than the entire country of Pakistan, so I don't think they fall under the Minority class, which means that they should be all over the Parliment in a 'Secular India':pleasantry:

Not anymore. Thanks to your higher birth rates, you have more Muslims today. check the latest stats from Pew Research.

Anyway election to India's Parliament is according to merit in voting. There is no quota for any religious group. Your point is invalid.

India is not a dum of Biriyani which is to equally divided among religion. It does not work like "oh,there are 70 muslims,so 7 plates of biriyani for them, there are 10 christians so one plate of biriyani for them". It does not work like that. India is democracy. There are only 20 muslims because only 20 muslims were elected by the people. And thats because, people of India is intelligent enough not to see everything in the eyes of religion. They voted only the ones whom they think are capable leading the country to progress.

Yes, anyone can form government in Pakistan just winning in one province Punjab as if Punjab and Pakistan are synonym, baki non-Punjabi bhad mein jaye.

PML-N won only because of support in Punjab. Outside Punjab they had little support.

Some Pakistanis on the internet actually refer to Pakistan as Punjabistan.

Stop being an idiot. Besides Punjab PML-N won Balochistan, was second most popular in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and had forged alliances with nationalists in Sind.

We are not as big as India. We have only 4 Provinces.

This election has thrown up new things which the old conventional thinking had not catered for in their strategy.

The poor showing of Muslim candidates shows that Muslims voted for change, a change from the old mindset of collective voting. There were muslim candidates , had parties not put them up then there was a cause for concern. In traditional Muslim predominant areas of Western UP two things happened - Muslims too have got fed up of silly religion based politics and have ignored calls by Sahi Imams. They have used their minds.

Next, their votes were split between the AAP, SP,BSP & Congress.

All in all, a good trend. Muslims too shall have to shed traditional approaches to voting and change with the times.

Indications are that they have.

Now, the pressure on BJP is more than ever to perform outside religious lines or else they shall not come back to power. Knowing them, they will do a good job.
