West has basically overlooked and at times coddled Hindutva fascism because of the following reasons.
1. To contain and eventually dismantle the Chinese state, preferably in Soviet style. ......indian collaboration has been identified as the key to obtaining that objective.
2. To gain Access to large Indian consumer and military markets.
3. The vaneer of Indian democracy had been peddled by their naive liberal western backers, and now it has been made more palatable, and perpetuated by the western establishments to make the most odious and disgusting hindutva fascists as the new democratic partners of the west against authoritarianism.
