The racism of white people

Well its true racism is present in each race and even within one race but you seem sensitive guy as your observation is wrong. I am living/working/studying with white people and i could say that although they are reserve with foreigners but they are less racist than those in Asian countries. They have their own valid reasons for this reserve behaviour with foreigners. Indian, Pakistani, polish, Somalian also make grouping in western countries wherever they find three or four guys from same countries. I remember i was working in one place and we had three Asian(two Indians and one Pakistani) and one white guy and we all were talking in urdu, having laugh/joke and were even playing our music but i felt bad after looking at the face of poor white guy. I knew it was not right for us to ignore him and not involve him in discussion so i am not surprised if same happened to you :)

Every race is racist. I know white people are racist and so are brown people. I know brown parents hate when their kid hangs around black people and I know 99.5% of brown parents would object if their son or daughter wanted to marry a black person. I also know that black people are racist as well and so are Asians.

Although a few days ago I told this white girl that my background is Pakistani and she found it pretty exotic and wanted to try new things ;)

She would dump a Pakistani for a Indian? :what:

For discussion:

By experience, I can confirm that white people are very racists. Of course, I cannot generalize. I was participating in a seminar with African, Asian, East European and ex URSS participants. I noticed that that the white participants, even if they did not know each other and spoke a different language, tended to remain together, they sat together for lunch, they always sat together in the lecture classes, and when we were on excursion, they walk together and took photos together. They rarely joined the African or non white participants and they organized their own stuff.

Again I had a friend from Germany, she always told me that I was her best friend. But I noticed a different behavior when she was with her white friends. She addressed me like she gave orders to her servant while she talk on an equal basis with her white friends. When she took photos, she was always very touchy and closed by keeping her hands on her white friends' shoulders. Again when she walked with her white friends, she remained very close and hold their hands. When she met a white friend, she gave big hugs. While, she never took photo with me, never hugs me just a distant handshake, kept a distance when she walked with me, she never sat next to me, put her bags on the chair just next to her to prevent me sitting next to her, when we were at a Japanese steam boat, she never dip her meal in the same plate/steamed bowl I used, when it was a common practice to dip on the same steam bowl to cook the meal etc. She systematically refused to take photo with me. I was wondering why such a behavior, I finally realized that it is racism. Since I realized this, I just give a ...... to that supposedly friend. Of course white female like to be with black male but this is another issue and for other purpose than true friendship. Sometimes it is for s.. and dating. Again this was the case for my fake German female friend. Sometimes she mingled with Black, Indian and mostly Iranian for dating and s... This person also hates East Asian and Chinese. Anyway I notice that black people are predominatly less racist.

Seems like you've had a bad experience and have been "burned" by this woman. Personally all my best freinds are white and I don't feel they treat me any differenlty based on my colour that is not to say this is true of all white people, I'm sure racism still very much exists and I have had my fill of "curry " and Bin Laden jokes (even though I'm not even Muslim!)!! My sister had a bad experince here in the UK a few weeks back where she was walking on her own down a relativly deserted street in her own little world when a white man came up to her and said "go back to your own country", considering she(like me) was born in the Uk and has lived here all her life this statement is shocking. Addtionally wrt whites "sticking together" I'd say there was an elemant of this especially when out of their comfort zone ie abroad and the West (whites) do have a definate superiority compex over the rest of the world-they make out they are the pinnacle of human civilisation and everyone else are savages. Some of the comments by middle/upper class white people in the UK speaking about immigrants and the rest of the world the impliocation is always non-whites aren't as good as them.

It's true that most whites and honorary whites such as Indians are racist, but then so is everyone to a degree.

I hate the way certain races smell. Does that make me a racist?

RazPak sometimes you really add nothing to a discussion in fact it is worse because you derail threads and disrupt genuine debate.

You are right to certain extent but they stick together mostly because of fear of different culture and ways of life of many foreigners..what they consider lil jokes can offend to people from different backgrounds..

I think the OP presents himself inappropriately. Girls can sense lecherous behaviour easily. I have some of the best friends who happened to be whites that include Germans and I did not face any such problem that OP mentioned including that of eating from the same plate and hugging

I don't "fear" other cultures....like to learn about them...vacation in them...but at the end of the day...prefer my own (suprise!). Does the fact that this bothers you mean you "fear" my culture? Once I worked at an electronics plant....lots of vietnamese and Indians (perhaps Pakistani too?). Stayed out of the lunch-room...as the smells killed my appetite...and that particular Vietnamese dialect hurt my ears (and yes...it would appear they have different dialects....as usually Vietnamese didn't bother me)

Is the coconut upset?

They'll never really respect you.

I'll reiterate:

Don't you dare go commenting on my situation when you have no knowledge or information of me. Who are you to comment on some else's life?
