Should be interesting even if the segments have been described as an advocacy project toward President Putin and even if Stone is known for being somewhat 'anti-American' and leftist in terms of political political views, and as having unique opinions on controversial world leaders such as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Hugo Chávez. (None of which is necessarily a bad thing, by the way, just something to keep in mind)

I don't remember them fighting the Japanese. Of course maybe Stone thinks the millions dead in Asia don't count as "real" people so it shouldn't be considered part of WW2.

Most Americans and the world are misled that the US had liberated Asia by the Atomic bombs. Even you are clueless about Soviet Union slaughtering the Japanese forces after Nazi Germany surrendered.

Americans are so full of themselves for their contribution in WW2 whereas Chinese, Russians suffered the most casualities but never surrendered and fought all the way until Nazi Germany was defeated and the Japs surrendered.

Can you read? I'm talking about Russian participation in the War in Asia not the war in Europe. Russia didn't declare war on Japan until 1 week before they surrendered. So their DIRECT involvement (i.e. troops fighting) in half of WW2 was negligible. So saying they were the ones who won the war is a slander to all the millions of Chinese and other countries who died fighting the Japanese. Of course maybe you feel your people's lives are unimportant compared to the lives of Europeans and so you guys don't count as being part of WW2.

Didn't you say the Russians didn't fight the Japs? How come they managed to kill like 80.000 japs ? Ofcourse Stone credited the Russians a bit too much by saying SU won the WW2 on the Asian side but nonetheless they did participate.

Hiroshima was August 6th. Nagasaki the 9th. They started fighting Japan on August 9th and Japan surrenders on the 15th. That's 6 whole days of fighting. Insignificant. Yes, the Russians kept fighting the Japanese for another 18 days AFTER they surrendered (losing over 10,000 men themselves). That 80,000 is ridiculous. If you believe that number then you must believe Chinese troops are completely incompetent fighting Japan and should have beat them back within weeks.

The Japs kept on fighting after the Jap general said he would surrender but his troops kept on fighting. Obviously you have not bothered to watch the video i posted. Go watch it first before presenting your own version of WW 2

The US was finding soldiers (and getting shot at) on islands YEARS after the War ended. In fact I believe one was elusive for over 20 years. But the war was over...their fighting didn't count. Unless you want to say we fought the Japanese for 25 years.

I watched the video. Considering it was probably made by the Russians is was actually pretty accurate (unbelievably they actually acknowledged using US made Sherman Tanks . Oh wait I thought according to PDF experts they built all their own stuff...um sorry no..the video just proved it). However even in the video the Russians admit they continued fighting AFTER the surrender just for a land grab saying they were promised land (BTW promised by a bunch of non-asians who could care less...so I guess that makes it legit ) and wanted to make sure they got it. The Russians were stymied in Sakhalin and only after the surrender did they advance.
