They are the foundation of many antisemitic movements. The Protocols are enshrined in Hamas' founding charter, for example. That they are a complete forgery doesn't seem to matter. What matters is that even when a person knows his teachers and/or parents lied to him about the Jews he or she will still be hostile to Jews, simply as a matter of guilt and pride. That's why antisemites always teach their followers about pride: when confronted by the facts Jew-hatred and all the unjustifiable bigotry it entails can't be sustained without it.

@PWFI Antisemitism" is prejudice, hatred of, or discrimination against Jews for reasons connected to their Jewish heritage. Jews didn't invent the term. It was invented by a German over a hundred years ago when it was unfashionable to degrade people on religious grounds so he did so on racial grounds instead. Since the term "antisemitism" has ALWAYS been a cover for Jew-hatred it's logically proper to ignore the "race" etymology of the word.

That doesn't prevent people from trying to change the intent of authors who employ it to mean something else - you yourself are a prime example, of course. I interpret the smile you employed to mean that your intent was pure maliciousness. If you have any regrets about that you'll apologize without further ado.

eh, muslims, what do some versions of the Quran (or all versions, still?!) say about 'infidels'? Oh, that's right; you are encouraged to lie to infidels and to kill them whenever you get the chance, all you claim is sanctioned by your Allah.

muslims especially love to criticize their enemies and claim to be righteous themselves, even when plenty of muslims practice and preach and teach their children hatred or oppression against other cultures and their own women and daughters..

improve something about your own culture before you criticize other cultures with *their* extremist views (that just a few people in those other cultures adhere to). demonizing 'the other side' does NOT work. fixing your own culture's flaws DOES.

disclaimer: any muslim who grants his wife more freedoms than the nation where they live do, and any muslim that refrains from practicing and preaching hatred towards other cultures, is a 'moderate muslim', and those are the best muslims around (plenty of them, i know), and they can ignore my criticism of these muslims that do preach and/or practice hatred and oppression towards others.
