The palace of shame that makes China angry

BOTH looting and destroying are bad. Maybe the British should steal the Tag Mahal. Who knows 100 years down the road it could be destroyed.

And noone is saying cultural revolution is good.

The brits have already looted the largest diamond from pakistan / india (both claiming ownership) and put it on the queen's crown

China has been actively seeking to bring back the looted/stolen artifacts and many items have thus far been brought back.

Is it better for this guy to be still around? Now it is gone and if this Buddha is being looted by UK, it is still there.

I am not saying UK is good, but one must reflect the shit of one's own race.

My mistake, I thought your reasoning was silly, it was actually completely idiotic.

India and Indians will back China against these looters of cultural heritage. These cultures had nothing worthwhile of their own, so they looted others precious culture.
One day we will get it back.

Not easy, the Egyptians, the Greeks too have failed to get back their national treasures from the British. Anyway i have been to the British Museum and saw all those looted items from ancient civilizations. One remarkable thing i saw on a label was: "gift from China" lol

Yes. And what will make you vomit blood is that after the victory, they got an Indian prince to offer it as a gift. So they can say it was not looted.

The day Britain is invaded will be a very good day indeed. Every single country that the British have ever stepped foot in and stole from will be able to come and take back all their treasures + whatever they want from the British.

I think I will live to see the day the Britain and the Anglo-Sphere turn into desolate 5th world poverty stricken countries with flags of dozens of foreign nations flapping on top of Windsor Castle and Palace of Westminster.

Lux de Veritas is absolutely right. Mao tried to destroy virtually every piece of heritage imaginable and succeeded in many cases so why are they still crying over something 150 years ago while they still worship a man responsible for far greater vandalism?

You are looking into the mirror from which the reflection of the queen and her empire still loom out large in the Brits eyes. What a shame!

Only difference is the mirror is "Made in China".

Mao had his time - good and bad in the mix for our Country.

It makes no sense to me a foreigner kept our historical possession which have no emotional feeling to them. If they are civilized, they will work with us to bring back our artifacts where it is belong. There is no better place to rest than home.
