The names in The country watch section.

Hi,

in the country watch section the names are different, one of which says Chinese, while the other says Turkey.

My question is according to what this is decided?


Turkey describes itself in its own constitution as Turkish, which alse stands for the political name, like chinese, german or Iranian. As i know, the defence products and armies are defined by their political names that are written in their own constitutions. the international organisations recognise other countries by their own descriptions, which also another way to Show the respect to those countires' sovereignty.

Could someone please explain us WHO decides how to describe other nations while the official description is already written in the constitutions of those countries?

If i understand correctly then if its Chinese Defence then for turkey it should be Turkish defence section but currently its Turkey defence.

I think i try to say more than that; if this forum is a serious one among others, then should comply with rules and laws recognised internationally.

Yes ''Turkey'' is also a bird's name...
It should be Turkiye.
