The Most Manufactured Planes Ever

The most produced plane ever was the German Messerschmitt BF-109. Over 30000 were produced. Also, many other WW2 planes like P-51 mustang, P-38 lightening, IL-2s, Spitfires, hurricanes, FW-190s etc were produced in tens of thousands.

As for jet aircraft, MiG-15 and MiG-21 probably takes the cake.

The most produced western jet aircraft is the F-16.

SU-47 - u may be right but we were tabulating post-WWII a/c.

The most produced jet fighter is indeed Mig-15 with around 12,000 built. Next in line is Mig-21 with 11,000+ built and then Mig-17 with numbers at around 10,000. These numbers also include copies of these planes built in other countries.

Mig 15 max. speed = 1,075 km/h
Mig 17 max. speed = 1,144 km/h

For a fighter jet to be a Supersonic Jet requries a speed greater than 1,238km/h
