That's what i think about the rescue of the jewish Hostages from Entebe by israeli Forces.

Everything spoke against a success. The Distance, the Cooperation of regula Army Soldiers with Terrorists and the Determination of the german leftist and palestinian Terrorists.

It was the first Time after WW 2 that Germans were seperating Jews again for "Special Treatment". And this Time there were not National Socialists but International Socialists.

Although it was flawless in the sense that no one was killed, but that had more to do with the Sikh activists of the Dal Khalsa organization than SSG. The Sikh activists had taken hostages to free their militant leader who was in jail. They did this in emulation to the hijacking a few years earlier when two congress activists hijacked a plane in order to free Indira Gandhi after she was arrested. The Sikh activists weren't going to kill anyone. It was more of a tactic to put pressure on the Indian government to heed to their demand as the congress activists had done. They even freed all the women, children and elderly after hijacking the plane. When SSG carried out their operation, the Sikh activists did not even put up any resistance because harming anyone was not their intent. Not a single passenger was harmed in anyway by the Sikh activists.

Not taking anything away from SSG. They are indeed one of the best trained body of men in the world, any country would be lucky to have such men in their defense forces.

By your previous posts it sounds like you think the terrorists might have been Pakistani? But this has long been cleared up.
