IMHO, this deserved a thread of its own. So here goes:

As I sit here drunk and contemplative I also wonder why the earth's 1000+ religions and scientists have not reached a compromising solution to the problem of existence.

I myself have figured out the meaning of life some time ago.
The meaning of life is Life.
If life did not exist we would not be here to ask the question "what am I"

It is obvious that the universe was created by something I am not speaking about god, thought that is possible.
I am speaking of something timeless.

The pursuit of the purpose of life is pointless.
To me is seems obvious that the purpose of existence is to exist.
To live life in a mortal fashion.
To experience a reality where no constraints exist, where nothing is certain.

It's hard for me to put into words but let me tell you...

Once you stop worying what life is all about, what the universe is about, you will be alot happier.
Be content that you are here, now and everything is as it should be.

Stop worrying and live, that is what you are here for... Life

^^ Interesting! Question: If the person reincarnates, as each and every person who ever walked this planet, then how does that person die and exist as millions others at the same time? Or is it that religious philosophy has no logic?

Each person a fragmented piece of the whole.

Actually I enjoyed it as an epic sci-fi story, rather than a philosophical discourse :)

John Lennon put it more succintly: Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.
