No tanks or BMPS. The theme this time was "counter terrorism operations in the backdrop of desert terrain under a United Nations Mandate".

Hence you see more of house to house search types. It looks as if the exercise is preparation for a post ISIS/Syrian Crisis where UN peacekeeping forces may be deployed. Or even Afghanistan if the UN SC allows such a big madate and Afgan gov agrees. (I mostly see in post ISIS/Syria war)

Notice how from previous picture here the entrance wall is so small and more difficult/challenging to cover as well as to surprise entry

This is like a well planned city (moderately semi urban or urban types) where challenge is entry via narrow entrances and walls not providing too much cover.
Such street fighting or urban combat for anti terrorism operations is extremely risky if there is any chance of a heavy gunmen protecting entrance the fight becomes protracted, also if ammo amounts is good its a long fight then...
