No need to get emotional, it doesn't help you win arguments. Iran is not an arab country, not your distant cousin/historical archenemy, thus, not after what Egyptians, Syrians were talking about. What Iran wants is having a leverage on US, they cannot have it in conventional terms on US, so they are after having it on US allies to achieve the same goal. That's what Yitzhak Robin understood well, he was a big proponent of normalizing Iran-US relations during Clinton administration, because he understood very well when the source of the concern for Iran goes away, the rest of the issues will automatically go away, too. Also, Iran is not Egypt/Syria, or such, Iran is a massive mountainous landmass, 40% of the size of entire EU with 85 million population, mostly religious and college educated, graduating 300K+ engineers/scientists per year alone, having the largest oil+gas reserves on this planet, large pockets, and a massive ground force, with Russia/China supporting it. Iran is not large enough to be a world power, but large enough that it won't go away. Thus, your solution is quite simple. As long as a sensible person like Biden is in office, ask him to normalize relations, not becoming best buddies, with Iran. It will solve most of your issues with Iran, way easier than what you think.
