The Indian variant of secularism opens the door to majority communalism

Oh well..they are still not able to come to terms with the fact that they are not in power. Eventhough it wasn't for the first time, it is different this time around. In the past whenever there was a non-congress govt, it was only a fragile one with loads of co-alition partners.. & congress always knew they can bounce back by playing their usual dirty politics & grab power once again. But this time it was different & a massive blow... Congress is struggling to recover from it. & that's why they are acting all crazy.

They are panic striken, The entire party is trying to survive.. during Vajpayee era, he had a soft spot for Sonia, he also was very accommodating to the leftist liberal media. As the economy of the country grows, the family will only become less and less important and popular. SO it is in the interest of Sonia Gandhi and family to block all bills..

Another problem is that Gandhi family and other Dynasties have been blocking meritocracy. Any party which is based on Merit and not on Dynasty is a threat to the Dynasty. As time goes on the Ambitious people within the party who have been suppressed and sidelined may choose to leave the party. Look at her recent photos and Videos, i only saw her smiling during the party rest of the time she looked extremely tensed.

I can't forget those UPA days when we narrowly missed highly skewed anti-riot law.UPA just overdid it.

Those were horrible days, i swear if that bill was passed and if congies ever were relected..this Nation would have gone into a Civil war.

Referendum on India's secularism would be interesting. But still don't you think BJP+ had only 39% vote share in LS election. What about those 61-15=46% ??

You forgot the support for BJD in Orrisa and Jaya in TN, both are pretty good when it comes to governing especially BJD under Naveen Patnaik
