In Afghanistan the forests have ended and there are no bears. In pakistan and Iran maybe they exist anymore.
I wonder.

Thousands of wildflowers and wild orchids are eaten before they scatter seeds for next. Himaliayan blue poppy is rarely seen.
My friend from gilgit few years back was talking a sample for their American friends as gift from deosai. I really scold him off to no effect. In these places you cannot take away the flowers or plants because they are source of next years flowers. Sometime one flower produce enough seeds for thousands of plants next year. And some orchid takes atleast 10 years to. Bloom. The small grassy ones Himaliayan types.

But since when our nation really held back from something being banned right.
I think the population is really extinct.
Before they use to steal babies and raise as their own pets and train for dancing in miserable conditions. The bear was half the original size its ought to be. Still there are circuses in paksitan and animals torchered in the name of fun.
And don't even go to this new class of mad man who are now a days breeding cats and dogs in miserable. Conditions in small cages totally miserable. Pakistanis would totally start breeding human babies of they have market for it.

Its almost like a historical profession for them now and takes time for every party to wean itself off it.

But thankfully there are none in lahore.
May be one or two but not in that scale where you see a bear in every market or 2 or 3 let's say in liberty market lahore.
We have not even kind to our animals. As we have not been to most of the things in short our country.
Look at the pangolins.all are destroyed because the locals somehow know that their scales are needed by the Chinese.
A totally harmless animal and my neighbourhood security promise me that it has some hidden weapons that can gouge your eyes out of you see him directly. And animal that use its tounge to eat have no teech or nails sharp enough to damage you. Others say its azab from god that it eats death from graves. All lies. It is an ant eater that why it dug holes in ground. to eat ants.

And so many other animals. Turtles and stuff. Even scorpions are said to expensive in international. Market and yes its true they are very famous pets. But that doesn't mean that you destroy the scorpion population of all. Your village and act h everyone and sell it off. It's like the man who cut of his hen to get all golden eggs at once. One can capture a pair and breed and sale and release in to the wild at the same time.
Snakes are almost all destroyed. Kahin nazar a gaya sahi the whole community gather to destroy it as mazhabi fereza.
The only successful model is that of moor. There moors in kalar kahar are said to have a curse. If someone catches them he would die in days and they thrive there.
So if you want to save an animal develop a myth like that your family would be cursed or your children would die and then they might leave the animals.
Don't even go for blind dolphin.. Even if it surviving its not due to our sai darkar efforts. Its because it hard spices.
And at that I can not even mention for what purpose people catch them.. Still they are fine then many.
