it is virtually impossible for a country like afghanistan to be prosperous
the character of the people aside
its geography is all based on highland and deserts
these are the worst types of terrains if you want to develop a successful culture and economy
so afghanistan is always going to be a capital poor country
there is a lot of hype about its natural resources
but even if there are any sufficient deposits, it is going to be a logistical nightmare to extract and then transport them
not to mention afghanistan is landlocked
so afghanistan is always going to be a poor country with poor infrastructure

that was 250+ years ago
and was the durrani empire known for its wealth and prosperity?
not really it was a weak empire that didn't even last a century
besides the bulk of its land was in present day pakistan with arable land and rivers
the only way any kingdom from the lands which are present day afghanistan have survived is by invading the subcontinent
and it is very easy to invade the indian subcontinent

The Muslims of the subcontinent were rejected by Afghans during the Hijrat movement in the 1920s. Many came back robbed of the few possessions they had, robbed of their dignity and robbed of their perceived Islamic brotherhood.

Had Afghans welcomed the refugees into their country there would be no Pakistan. Afghanistan would be a prosperous country with a strong polar attraction of all the Muslims in the region.

But they rejected them and ultimately failed the test. They are paying the price for their treachery to their faith and God. They will suffer for hundreds of years as a result. An older country than Pakistan and have been reduced to chaotic rubble. Their history completely maligned and corrupted. You could say NOW THEIR DIGNITY HAS BEEN STRIPPED FROM THEM LIKE THEY STRIPPED OUR FOREFATHERS DIGNITY during the movement.

Lets look at Pakistan as another example. For a thousand years we Muslims of the subcontinent have suffered at the hands of Afghan rulers, Hindu rulers, British rulers. We have been subjected to extreme physical and mental torture for A THOUSAND YEARS. Yet here we are, letting the Hindus pray in their temples, Sikhs pray in their temples, welcoming Afghan refugees into our home and anyone else seeking shelter from the suffering of this world.

And the rewards, a young country, a poor country but impenetrable. Who would have thought such a poor pathetic nation could muster the courage and the will to develop nukes and an army capable of crushing any intruder. Even the mighty civilizations of Iran and Turkey couldn't manage this feat. They are virtually defenseless with all their vast history and might and wisdom.

Why is this so? Was this Pakistan passing the test? Was it divine intervention? Has Pakistan become the people God has trusted in just like the persecuted Jews during Moses? Have Afghanistan been shunned away to a eternity of misery and suffering because they didn't partake in their duties during the Hijrat movement? I would also like Daeesh orientated and Afghans reading this to really think about what I have just stated. I hope this will be the catalyst to begin repenting for your misdemeanors for which there are plenty.

Will this be good to make FATA into 3 provinces and KPK in to 5-7 more provinces?

Some things never change. Karzai brings up Durrand line as its not a recognized border.

Afghans think Pakistan screwed them over during Cold War but Afghans screwed over Pakistanis long before that. What goes around comes around.

You prosper if you have justice, education, tolerance, hardworking labour and people who are charitable. It doesn't matter if the society is Islamic or non Islamic however if the society lacks these elements and on top of it is lost in moral turpitude like sodomy, bloodshed and backstabbing. The lands become barren, Wells get dry and life dies.
Afghanistan should be a lesson. Pakistan is right at the edge. The moral decadence under garb of liberalism, injustice, senseless bloodshed, divisions and anarchy is going to take away the divine favor away from us if it hasn't already. This is if you believe Islam as a way of life. If man is your God dont bother!
