THis article is incorrect and sensationalist. You see Germany is the leader of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force in Europe. As such it has access to call upon the combined military hardware and personnel of all EU and NATO member states in the region to counter aggression.

However remaining objective, why the Germans are lacking are logistics and service items, this has already been reported in EU newspapers in the past and here is the link:

That said, when the Germany government says it will resolve the issue you tend to take that as Gospel.

If there is one thing I respect about the Germans its their professionalism.
