Never proven in battle. Just media hype.

The same way u guys talk about "Never proven in battle" planes China have produced from J 10, J 11 or J 16.
I think u r new in this forum, so u wouldnt have noticed other chinese ravishing their planes.
Whateva u say, this is the most advanced plane. There is a reason, its not sold to anyone

Their "experience" is really just firing missiles and launching air raids against almost defenseless countries like Iraq that cannot threaten their ships. This kind of experience is not much better than a war game drill.

The fact is that, all the modern navies in the world have absolutely no experience in modern warfare.

so you are talking about whom?

The article is total BS. At no point was the F-35 EVER intended to replace the 22.. rather it was to be what the F-16 was to the F-15.
Moreover, while pilots have been pushing the jet .. that is a part of a new fighter going through the paces.
The only reason the F-22 gets flak is cost and numbers.
But the fact remains.. there is NOTHING.. literally NOTHING out there that can take it on..
All these talks of kills eschew the fact that these had to be done in WVR...and those kills too are not 1:5 or 1:20..its 1:250.
Add BVR to the mix.. and there is no hope of survival against this aircraft..

Also, the F-22 still has enormous growth potential..
Dont take my word for it.. During 2005-6 Pakistan Air Force officials were given a tour of the Langley wing as part of goodwill.
Their only comment on it was "Its a hundred years ahead of anything in the world".. and they were only shown a glimpse.

Ideally plane as complex as F22 should have two pilots that's the reason why IAF wanted twin pilot conf for its PAKFA.
