I agree. just one point. the name india is not originally greek. it comes from "old" persian word "Hend" or "Hind". some researchers believe that "Send" , "Indus in persian" is another form of this word. This term, "Hend", in old persian, meant a land with abundant resources of water and blessings.

Exactly right. Actually these words have been pronounced a little bit different by different people and tribes, for example in this case it has been pronounced as "Hend", "Hind", "Hindus", and probably "Send", and "Sind". but all of they are basically the same word with different pronunciations ;)
