The insurgency in Balochistan is causing a lot of deaths even though there are around 30% Baloch who want freedom (This is a large number anyway and is worrying BUT) IOK has 87% Kashmiris who want freedom from India and 4% that want merger with Pakistan. So how come there is more violence in Balochistan than in Kashmir. I have pondered over this for a while.

First of all,the link u provided is a thread on PDF,according to the poster of which these results were made on the basis of polls of 451 kashmiris from all over kashmir.But the point to be noted is that these ``results`` r not concrete and r just an assumption based on the opinion of those 451 people.These ``results`` can differ a lot in reality.

Its ended, Balochis are now much more Pakistanis than Pakistanis themselves.

Only the Afghan and Indian support is continuing and its dieing its natural desth costing India and Afghanistan money and resources.

Without outright invasion of Balochistan, Baloxhistan can never become independent, its impossible.

The sheer fact you can't differentiate Baloch from Balochi tells me you know nothing about Balochistan or the internal issues. Let's first start with the basics:

BALOCH = People
BALOCHI = Language

Secondly, what do you mean by "more Pakistani than Pakistanis themselves". That literally make no sense...Pakistani is not a rigid term. A Pakistani means anybody who lives in Pakistan...Baloch were always Pakistani from day one. The problem arose when Balochistan first joined Pakistan...instead of giving power to the middle class and educated people, we handed it over to a couple of Sardars to run amok for 5 decades.

Only the Afghan and Indian support is continuing and its dieing its natural desth costing India and Afghanistan money and resources.

Afghanistan can barely build a road by themselves. What in the world can do they do in Balochistan? And India? Other than fake Tweets and twitter accounts, they're also not up to anything. Pakistanis are a funny group of people. In one breath you'll claim "Afghanistan is weak" yet they're managing to support an insurgency? How? Where is the money coming from? They're practically a bankrupt state. India also doesn't have the skill or expertise to do something as logistical as this. You keep hearing about this Kulbashan Yadav character...it's true...but he was caught...and guess what, plenty of others have been caught in the past and eventually KILLED either in the field or at ISI detention facilities...those people obviously don't end up on the evening news. The only reason this guy is being paraded on the news is because he got caught and Pakistan WANTED to show him off to the world and media.

If Balochistan were to ever become independent, it wouldn't occur by some invasion. How old are you? Like 17? Have you ever talked to a Baloch in your life? Clearly never...just because the army tells a couple of Baloch to wave flags while the camera is shooting means nothing. Yes, I agree...the violent insurgency has all but ended, but that doesn't mean all is well. We ignored them for decades, and allowed greedy Sardars to run amok in that province...now we come straddling in...and pretending "yeah we care about you", how would you feel?

Pakistan has some serious sole searching to do. The first thing it needs to do is release power from the centre (federal government) and give the provinces more autonomy to run its own affairs. Regional languages should become official languages of the province.

In Balochistan, they need to engage with the middle class educated population and spring them into power, instead of these greedy god damn Sardars, who have been fighting among themselves for decades now. This is also one of the reasons why the Baloch insurgency failed because the ISI essentially played all the leaders off against the other and eliminated them.

But that's just half the job. The other half is resolving the issues Baloch have.

By engaging with the middle class, I'm referring to making them feel apart of the country...by giving them power, I mean giving them opportunities and giving them a democratic voice.

This is done by not by patronizing them which is what our military and government does regularly, but rather agreeing with terms they're looking asking for. Most Baloch "separatists" are actually those who are looking for provincial autonomy. They want more share of the pie, and I honestly cannot disagree with them. When you live in Balochistan for example, a natural gas paradise, and you don't have gas, but a pipeline goes right through your backyard towards Punjab and Sindh, how in the world will you feel? So the second thing would be to bring them basic amenities, which Balochistan severely lacks. Then our education system - I cannot fathom for one second why Balochi is not taught in schools in Balochistan, why Sindhi is not taught in schools in Sindhi, why Punjabi is not taught in schools in Punjab and why Pashto is not taught in schools in KP. Yes, Urdu is the official language (not the national language)...Urdu can be taught side-by-side with our regional languages.

Yeah, for this Pakistan needs men like Quaid e Azaum, Muhammad Asad and Liaquat Ali Khan et al. Also the government needs to introduce a program to debrainwash the nation from the colonial narratives.

I agree Pakistan needs to enforce Urdu and actually use words that have come to us from Sankrit/Persian/Arabic/Turkic and the native languages and not necessarily from a language that was shoved down the throat.
About provincial languages being taught in school, so what about Hindoko, Sariaki, Brahui and other such languages? Won't the native speakers of these feel left out?

and i use to see it when people from FATA/KPK would have 20+ children and often would not know the name of their children..lol

what is important has this has diluted the international cause of balochs as they are going to become a minority to begin with!..this has also means that they stopped attacking pushtoons as well and now focusing on punjabis..migrant workers from swat is big threat especially
in gawadar..

i bet in 10 years puhstoons will outnumber balochs ...
