MORE employers expect to hire than fire over the next three months, according to Manpower’s Global Employment Outlook, a quarterly survey of over 65,000 employers across 41 countries. The net employment outlook—the balance of employers expecting an increase in the size of their workforce over those expecting a decrease—is positive in 32 of the economies surveyed. As our chart shows, hiring expectations have dropped in many places over the past year. However compared with the previous quarter, hiring optimism has strengthened or stayed the same in most labour markets. Hopes are highest in India and Brazil, driven by the services sector: nearly 6 out of 10 Indian employers in the service sector plan to expand their workforces before the end of June. In China, under pressure to improve salaries and working conditions, companies are not hiring as aggressively as they have in the past. Job prospects in the United States remain weaker than before the recession, but the outlook is the most optimistic it has been since the last quarter of 2008. Unsurprisingly, Greek employers remain gloomy, although fewer expect to be making further redundancies in the second quarter.

Japan, US, Italy had increase in its stats. And owner all had decrease even India.

Or is it just me misreading the stats?

.
surprise even with all this...we still have more poor than africa and 2 Pakistani rupees buy 1 indian rupee...how good is that?...that means our economy is twice as good as Pakistan......wait...we are 4 times bigger in size and 7 times more populated than Pakistan but our economy is only twice as good as Pakistan.......Indian deception at its best...:agree:

Yes percentage change as compared to last year.

Look at it this way; it's easy to increase a small figure. It is, however, very difficult to even maintain a huge figure i.e. prevent it from falling or from falling too much, especially in these times of global financial duress.

Goood, but I'd change 'Hiring Spree' because stats only show raise in pay, not raise in jobs.

what about poor?we got more poor than entire african continent.....350 million of them.....Pakistan's population is 180 million....alone and poor would be around 20 million.

we got 350 million hungry people to feed......if u were poor then u wouldnt have thought this way....india's biggest enemies are dumb fuks like you who are are lying all the time on international forums regarding the state of their economy and country.

bottom line is 2 Pakistani rupees buy 1 indian rupee....considering we are 4 times larger in size,7 times more populated than Pakistan and with 350 million poor people.......whatever you are telling is nothing but plain lie...just to impress Chinese.

Stop embarrassing yourself mate. Go look at the per capita income of both countries in terms of international dollars. Now sod off.

In 2012 Pakistan=$2870, India= $3971. Your figures are wrong.

Difference of $1100 by PPP and $400 by nominal is not "almost the same".

You don't even know the basics of economics

Do you measure countries wealth by their currency value? so if Indian one rupee is about 2 rupees of Pakistan that means India's economy is twice as good as Pakistan? haha by that logic Japan must be very poor country since their Japenese yen is weaker than India. Bahrain and Kuwait should be the richest countries on earth and England should be 1.5x richer than America since their British pound is valued higher than the US dollar.

The way you are thinking is incorrect and there is no doubt Indian economy is much more stronger than Pakistan... if your population is about 8x larger than us... Your GDP is also much larger than us

Flase flag troll.

He is not a false flagger. Its just that he has poor knowledge about economics
