Well who ever this guy is he was in military service long before I came to Bangladesh and in 1985 when he was a Lt. Col. and you were his instructor I was just entering High School in the UK.

But please explain his significance. Has he played any role in Bangladesh that should be of interest to me?

You might as well spell it out. There is no way of me finding him unless you are more precise about his role in Bangladesh and also if he still active. It would also be useful to know what exactly was it that you instructed him in? Do you still maintain relations with him and if so how do I get in touch with him? What are his views and why do you presume he would be interested in my ideas? If he does share my views then I might send him a copy of my book The India Doctrine.

He was a very promising student and should have become a General and so finding him would be easy.
