The Conflict in Syria as it Relates to Turkey | Updates & Discussions

Can somebody verify that picture. I can see clearly a Turkish IFV.

Can you please confirm that Turkish artillery shelled Hymim airbase after that barbaric areal bombing of the Türkish Minority in Syria, with phosphor bombs ?
The picture in Haberturk shows an Turkish IFV.
I don't want to spread false news in these critical days.
But shelling Hymim is a perfect solution. Russia has nothing comparable to Israeli IRON DOME.

the ironic thing is that russia is concentrating their attacks on non isis territory..

Russian spec ops combating Turkmens is excellent news. The combat data that will be gathered will be of immense value for training our own special operations personnel. Thank you Papa Vladdy!

I just wonder what is the real deal between Syria and Russia? It seems it is not only the Russian bases, petrol prices etc...
It seems something is wrong:close_tema:

Once Assad is gone a gas pipeline from Qatar to Turkey will be laid.
Once that's done, Europe & Turkey's dependance on Russian gas will be gone.

As much as I dislike Erdogan, getting rid of Russian gas would be just beautiful, for Turkey.

The crew of the Russian Sukhoi Su-24M 'Fencer' strike aircraft downed by Turkey on 23 November may not have been able to hear radio warnings issued by the Turkish Air Force, Russian sources tell IHS Jane's .

Turkish authorities have stated that the aircraft was warned 10 times within a five-minute period. However, the surviving crewmember told Russian media on 25 November that he and the aircraft commander, who was shot from the ground while parachuting, did not receive the signal.

Russian specialists familiar with the R-862 model VHF radio installed on the Su-24M say it requires an optional add-on receiver module in order to receive emergency channel transmissions in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) and very high frequency (VHF) bands.

Like I already guessed... they know they fucked up but can't dare to show it (yet) cause PR.

We will face multiple threats asap. Türkiye must be prepared for all scenarios. Also closing the straits with the rights Montreux treaty gives us.

I'm seeing bunch of videos uploaded by Syrian Turkmen Rebels on twitter, they repelled attack of Iranian soldiers lots of bodies with Iranian badges on shoulder. What was amazing to see is that one of the Syrian Turkmen rebels was an old man, must of been 60-70 years old running and providing cover fire slowly pushing forward. Much respect to that senior lion.
