The Chinese singer-songwriters thread

We certainly have a dearth of Chinese music threads on this forum. And the two existing threads are either very classical or too mainstream. So here I'll start a new one focusing on Chinese singer-songwriters. To be honest I don't listen to Chinese pop all that often so I'm looking forward to other people's recommendations. One rule though, don't bombard us with goodies so keep it to one song per post please.

Anyway I'll start with Cao Fang's Letters. It's not her best-known song but has its simple charms.

This is probably going to betray my age, but He Yong's 20+ years old song Zhong Gu Lou (Bell and Drum Towers) has remained a personal favorite through the years.

Yang Yi's Xiao Zhen (Small Town). It's a shame one can hardly find any Yang Yi videos on the Internet.
