Bud, my dad has a boat he never uses 'cause he's preoccupied with life in the military, how about we send it your way
?
It's seaworthy, used for fishing in the cold, heavy waters of the Norwegian Sea, so it'll make it in any ocean on Earth. You sail it around and then come back and tell us about it. I promise, and I've been on ships during my time in the military, even to the North Pole where I could, and this is surprising I know, see on the other side of the world from the Polar North, that no one in the US military will blow you up
.
My ancestors were master sailors. They were first to both the North and South Pole, beat Columbus to North America by 500 years, nothing bad happened to them, nothing bad will happen to you.
Do you really think a little snow and ice would stop intrepid Norwegian explorers from discovering what was beyond an ice cap? We live for snow and ice, we love snow and ice, we are snow and ice. We were first to the North and South Poles, discovered Greenland and Iceland, colonized Svalbard and Jan Mayen... only the Russians love the frosty, frigged North more then we Norwegians.
This is our home.
There is not an iceberg cold enough to stop us from exploring it. That is who we are. That is what we love.
I can guarantee to you that if the world was flanked by ice caps, we Norwegians would know what's on the other side. Our people have a grand history of exploration and a love for the cold.
Did you know Norwegians were the first to visit Mars? True fact right there.
Here's the actual, historical, 100% authentic photographs of said happening.
