The B-1R is a proposed upgrade of existing B-1B bombers. The R variants would have an AESA radar, external hard points to carry air to air missiles, and would be fitted with the F-22 Raptor's Pratt & Whitney F119 engines, which would bring the B-1s top speed from Mach 1.25 to around Mach 2.2, though it would have 20% less range
