A lot of people probably already know about the Ghiliji (also known as the Ghilzai, Ghorzai, or Khiliji) tribe, as they are the largest tribal confederation among the Pashtuns (containing many sub-tribes too, such as the Suris, Tanolis and Lodis), inhabiting the countries of both Afghanistan and Pakistan (some of them also live in Iran). But what a lot of people don't know is the history of these people. To sum up, they're basically the most OP tribe in the region. Here's a list of dynasties/empires founded by the Ghilijis:

As you can see, that's quite the roster. Outside of these dynasties/empires, the Ghilijis have also played an important role in the history of the region, for example:

Bakhtiyar Khiliji - He is credited as being the first person to truly bring Islam to the Bengal, as he was the first Muslim to conquer it as a general under the Mamluk Empire. He also destroyed Nalanda.

Zabardast Khan Tanoli - He assisted Ahmad Shah Durrani during his conquests of the region, and was as a result awarded the title of Subah Khan for his actions.

Khiliji Ghaznavids - Khilijis made up a large portion of the Ghaznavid army.

It should be poor people who left their own areas areas due to unavailability of water and poverty and later somehow managed to form government in India so it means these people were just dakaits

Orange Pekoe. It's black tea. He wants black tea, and he thinks the internet is the best place to get it.
It could very well be. "OP" in the context of PDF means originating post (OP). It is very important to define any esoteric terms, abbreviations or acronyms one uses in the article. Most of our members are not aware of very basics of essay/article writing. That's why we need to invest in good education.

The Khilji's never managed to capture Chera Kingdom.:) They never had to pay tributes to the Sultanates either. The only part in the history the Chera (Later Ay - Varma) was conquered was by the British.

There is nothing such as 'absolute' history.

And Ghilzais are predominantly Afghanistani. Thread posted in wrong section.

The Afghan proper are different from Pakistani Pathans.

And Ghilzais are distinct from both Afghans and Pakistani Pathans as they are of Turkish descent (with Persian admixture) who adopted 'Pakhto' tongue and culture, but they still are 'Opra'
