what would happen if every one follow themselves? and what God and his prophet and holly book have got to say on this issue?
Once upon time the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche declared that God is dead ...... where is God right now? what do you mean by saying follow yourself? does it mean that God has left us alone?

I see where you're coming from now...you have agnostic feelings I will try doing my best explaining this to you brother.

First thing we need to know is that God is outside of the Universe. Time/law/etc.. isn't applied to him. But, from the human perspective, thousands of years to us seems long. But, it means nothing to God.

By 'follow self' it means follow the Sunnah/obligations God ordained on us and stay out of fitnah. We are obliged to follow our Imam though.

To your second question. God technically 'left us alone' after he sent his last Prophet. No more revelations/intervention from God until end times. God will only give us his support through our actions. The least being praying 5 times a day. His support doesn't mean he starts intervening directly in a way which is apparent miracle.

It's not wrong to ask about God in Islam even if people advise against it. I want to answer more of your curiosities but please pose detailed/specific questions you want answered.

That what Pat says too...

I know you're only into detailed explanations. For complicated/intelligent people like us we need that. For most people simple explanations do it. If you want detailed explanations on Islam I can provide for you.

What if that weak leader is Baghdadi. Leader of ISIS he kind of fits the description.
Baghdadi may be the man...Came out of nowhere, he already has a khalifat, an army and a followers...Even Prophet Mohamed(sal elahou 3alayhi wa salem) had it rougher...

no way, the weak should be eleceted by the people, Baghdadi is forcing himself upon Muslims just like the perished n current dictators
Baghdadi has a scar, that qualify him for "weak"

Don't feel any doubt. It is clear that you are concerned of your existence on earth. You aren't happy here. You also aren't satisfied with theories of the Universe's origin. You feel as if this earth is something that forced itself upon you but there is no clear proof to you.

Some people may interpret this as weak faith, I see it as the opposite. I feel like you miss God. We feel the same way, I miss him too. However, I'm afraid to meet him at this moment and need to do more to prepare for that time.

If you do want to meet him, pray 5 times a day and read the Quran and try to act upon it. I advise you to go to Umrah as well. Then you need to make a decision in your life. There are men who made these crucial decisions in their life and have their life ready to risk at any moment. They grew up in the Mosque, they grew up brave and well prepared spiritually. You know who I'm talking about. They also have an urge to meet God.

Most people are scared to make that decision.
