Pakistan has to cut Cricket funding and encourage Football. Cricket is very expensive and time consuming sport. Only when you are batting or bowling that you have fun rest of the time you sit or just stand in field. In Football you run all the time and get good exercise. It is cheaper since you require only Football while Cricket equipment costs too much. Football is now world sports and Pakistan must be spending on it rather than Cricket.

Its strange that we only hear about this country whenever they are playing football only and its rare since their first 2 world cups when they were the winners.

actually its only a few countries names people remember..
1.some europen because of their high profile leagues going on for whole year
2.major teams winning major tournaments like argentina and Brazil
3.famous players of particular countries being tranferred to those european leagues like Germany

we hear these names only when WC is here..like Uruguay,Paraguay,Holland,Mexico,etc. although these have their own football league but not that famous but they are equally talented.

holand yeah..you are right..but mexico because of non football reasons probably...

but yes Uruguay seems secluded just like Chile and Peru..isnt it ?? all of them very talented soccer playing countries.
