He's been here for awhile mate, and comes off as more logical member. He was reasonable with his positions, and I figured who would eventually became atheist. The more logic and reason one uses, the further it takes them away from religion. That doesn't disprove religion, it just means today lots of people in the world critically think to a high degree due to stricter educational standards, and it leads them to different conclusions.

I would love for God to be real, I tried convincing myself for a very long period, but what I saw around me didn't support that theory. It's too much to sum up in a short paragraph, it's a process that took about 4-5 years. That being said, I don't believe in being anti-Muslim and support plights of people who happen to be Muslim if it's a just plight.

I know what you two have been through; and it is something i've been through as well. I would delve into the matter for hours in a day; researching and learning about spirituality and religion and the science/logic behind them. I am a man of logic as well, and I do not follow anything that does not have logic to support them.

I was an atheist for years; but all those years have led me to a conclusion that Islam is the truth; I was amazed of the content I found and kept finding as I delved deeper. The more I searched, the closer I got to Islam.

What has been happening around us is exactly what Muhammad (SAW) said would happen. I know Islam has been taking hits here and there - that morale is diminishing for many people; but just remember this world is nothing but a test; it is meant to be harsh, especially for many Muslims - it is up to you to decide whether you wish to pass or fail the test.

Almost all Christians in Iran are either Assyrians or Armenians.
