And the pic above is not of Sheosar. It's another picture of Dudipat, just later in the summer season with less snow. This is Sheosar,

Also, the Barah Broq Twin Lakes are around +4000m high. Only recently discovered, their hight is yet to be accurately measured. So that should place them at least on the 6th position between Saral and Chitta Katha. Some estimates even claim them to be at 4900 meters, making them the highest lakes in Pakistan. Barah Broq,

Great work btw

You really really must see Spantik, Malubating and Diran, all clad in white, lined up in the background at dusk (when the sky turns to a shade of pink) with the lake in the foreground. Either in may when the area around the lake is bright green or in Sept when it's bright orange.

I must say Pakistan is full of surprises, and these lakes you have mentioned, are they all located in Gilgit,Baltistan.

Rama, Sheosar and Barah Broq? Yes. Rama is in the Astore district, Sheosar is in Deosai and Barag Broq is in the Ghanche district, about 6-7 hours east of Skardu.

The lakes in the OP are a mixture from AJK, KPK and GB.

And surprises? Pakistan holds wonders that no place else on earth can even imagine. These lakes are just a drop in the bucket.
