P1 : just one-quarter of Pakistani women were in the labor force, versus 86% of men.
ANS : It is because most Pakistanis don't want their women to work and feed the house. It is cultural thing. The women in Pakistan are mostly social and are mostly house wives. It is not like someone has ban them from work.
IMO : This must stop. Its 21st century, if half of country's population sits at home, country can never progress.
P2 : Similarly, the disparity in educational attainment is also quite large. Just 67% of school-aged girls in Pakistan attended primary school, a figure that falls to just 31% for secondary school. By contrast, enrollment rates for boys were 77% and 41%, respectively. Even worse was the gap in literacy rate between females and males — just 42% of women could read versus 67% of men.
ANS : Unfortunately majority of Pakistan's population is poor and rural. Because of poverty many families decide to educate male child as they believe that the duty of male child is to earn for family. The second reason is due to majority living in rural areas, the customs are more backward in Sind, Punjab, Balochistan, KPK and FATA} rural areas. Situation in ICT, GB and AJK is much much better than these regions.
IMO : GoP must introduce free quality educations for all who live in Pakistan. Those parents who don't send their children to school must be fined.
