FATF is Financial Action Task Force and it's a terrorism financing watchdog organization. The shitface called Trump (which from here on will be referred as to just shitface) has been pushing hard against Pakistan on nearly all matters since he came into office.

Some theories on why shitface is acting like such a shitface is because he's focusing on appeasing Russia and her ally India in the area while also trying to eliminate the risk Pakistan poses for Israel. Pakistan is not a concern for Israel in her current form - but Israel's main rival in the area (hint : Turkey) is very close with Pakistan and an ICMB loaded with a nuclear arsenal in Turkey's full control is Israel's worst nightmare - so she also has interest in belittering Pakistan.

So shitface and his cronies went full out on Pakistan for a while (you can remember the bans and whatnot last year) and called it a terrorist supporting state. Since then he's been pushing for sanctions on Pakistan left and right, FATF is just the latest move in this ongoing shitshow.

The first meeting was held back in February and it needed 3 votes to stall the motion. China, Saudi Arabia and Turkey opposed. But the US bribed the so-called-country of Saudi Arabia (to no ones surprise) and basically won.

China said "yea i'm not going to oppose the motion when we can't win and lose diplomatic points, i'm out".

Turkey said "f.u.c.k. that shit, opposed anyway".
